Leadership Council

Our Leadership Council consists of 12 lay members, the Lay Leader and 2 clergy. It’s comprised of members with diverse backgrounds, ages and spiritual gifts. Working with supporting teams, the Council’s role is to prayerfully oversee the direction of the church as LTUMC works to build God’s Kingdom. The supporting teams to the Council are Facilities, Finance and Staffing.


The Campus Team maintains our campus and buildings, the Finance Team oversees our budget and the Staffing Team provides guidance to staff as needed. Each Council member serves on one team for the purpose of providing leadership support to the team as well as serving as a resource to the Leadership Council regarding recommendations or needs that arise from the teams. The service term for Council members is three years and each year the Nominations Team will lift up four members for voting approval through our annual Charge Conference.
