Our Priority

Our priority for children is to provide the opportunity to grow closer to Jesus in a loving, safe and secure environment. Children are valued as active and vital participants in the life of our church family. The programs we offer are created to make a lasting impact in their day-to-day lives, even from a child’s earliest years.

Our Celebrate Wonder curriculum honors the spiritual life of children — their natural sense of awe, wonder, imagination and curiosity — and helps shape their growing faith. Children will connect with God through engaging experiences, spiritual practices and opportunities for reflection, giving them a safe space to ask big questions and helping them claim their spiritual identity as children of God. Calling all 2^nd-5^th graders and adults!

We’ve launched a penpal experience for those who’d like to build relationships and share life together through letters and activities! A child will be paired with an adult to correspond through old-fashioned letters and a quarterly in-person activity. If you’re interested in learning more about this opportunity or to sign up, please email Danielle Lair (danielle.lair@ltumc.org). Adults must be Safe Gatherings® approved.

Children’s Ministry Events

MONDAY-THURSDAY, June 10-13

LTUMC Vacation Bible School

9am-12pm

REGISTRATION NOW OPEN! Join us in Hometown Nazareth, where we’ll explore what life was like when Jesus was a kid. We’ll craft cool projects in the Marketplace, laugh as we play Bible-times games, visit with Jesus’ mom, Mary, and eat foods like Jesus ate. For ages 3 thru completed-4th-grade (Nursery for volunteers’ kids under 3). Tap here for info, child registration and volunteer registration.

Stay & Play Camp

12-3:30pm

Keep the summer fun going at a Player2Player Stay & Play Camp! Join us for a multi-sport camp on the LTUMC campus, led by awesome P2P coaches. K-5th graders welcome! Participants should pack a lunch and water bottle. Pick-up: 3:30pm, Kids Center. $150/full session; $40 day drop-ins. REGISTER HERE
