The annual leadership nomination process has begun! We want to help you understand a bit more about this process and ask for your prayers for our church as we walk through it. Nominations for leadership close MONDAY, SEP 9.

As a church, we are here to make disciples of Christ for the transformation of the world – deepening our own faith as we worship, pray, study, serve, and break bread in community. For the church to function, we need Christ-centered leadership to cast the vision, create the strategy, and oversee the operations toward enabling the making of disciples for the transformation of the world. This team is called the Leadership Council.

The Leadership Council is made up of 12 lay members and the senior pastor as voting members, along with the Lay Leader and associate pastor(s) as non-voting members. The people serving have expertise in various areas of operations, including finance, human resources/staffing, and campus management/facilities, in addition to leadership experience and a strong, demonstrated commitment to Christ and to His church. It is very intentional that Leadership Council discussions and decisions are surrounded in prayer and discernment.

The Nominations Committee prayerfully works to identify potential candidates. Once the recommended slate is complete with the people who will serve together with complementary knowledge, skills, and experiences, the slate is voted on by the Leadership Council and approved at the Annual Charge Conference. Nominations for leadership close Monday, Sep 9, after which time the final slate will be discerned.
