Are you interested in joining a women’s group with a heart for missions?
Then United Methodist Women is the place for you! Our focus is to learn about issues affecting women and children and to make donations of time and money to worthy organizations. We support the Worldwide Mission of the United Methodist Church. Our funds are raised through annual pledges from members and fundraisers in the church and community.

Our UMW unit has two groups called  “circles”.  Our circles are the Susannah Wesley Circle and the Growing Friendship Circle. Circle meetings are held the 3rd Tuesday of the month from September to May. Meetings are held in the Wesley Room in the Sanctuary building. The Susannah Wesley Circle meets at 9:45 am and the Growing Friendship Circle meets at 7:00 pm.  Four or five times throughout the year, both circles come together for a pot luck luncheon after church on Sundays. We share wonderful food and fellowship,  and a program usually with a special guest speaker.

We have a wide variety of activities throughout the year – only a few are listed here:
• Craft days
• Sewing & assembling kits for UMCOR (United Methodist Committee On Relief)
• Spearheading annual shoe & backpack drive for needy students
• Supporting Partners in Hope (a local charity helping families with home repairs)
• Helping with a summer reading program
• Sponsoring BBQ To Go lunch fundraiser

Please contact our President or either of the Circle Chairs for more information. They would love to talk to you about United Methodist Women. We hope to see you soon!
