Our name stands for Jesus, first; Others, next; and then Yourself.  We focus is on scripture – understanding the historical context in which it was written and the applications it has for our lives today. The format is a lecture and discussion. We look at both the Old and New Testaments. Our members are older adults, both married couples and singles.

New Horizons
Location: Chesnutt Building – Room C-11/12

We are a fun and energetic group of young adults – both single and married. We enjoy learning more about God’s word while expanding our circle of Christian Friends.  Sunday School class topics are taken from Scripture and include an emphasis on everyday issues such as spiritual growth and relationships.  We enjoy gathering for quarterly social activities and actively participating in the church’s ongoing mission projects.

YAM Young Adult Ministry

For all young adults who have completed high school, are college age or 20ish We’ll connect through conversation, discussion, and reflection about the Bible, about real life and about living out a real life faith. Your participation will help design and develop our time together; and we can even talk about other opportunities to socialize, study or serve. Please feel free to invite other young adults. Our class uses a variety of study materials, covering a wide range of topics. Lessons are linked to Biblical principles and teachings with a focus on application to our daily life. And we believe a healthy dose of fun is always important!

A Disciple’s Path

Our 7 week course focuses on understanding our growth in God’s love and grace through spiritual practices, discovering personal gifts and engaging in active ministry.
